April 21, 200818 yr I don't get a Platform Editor option on the HCE Main Menu page (I do get the scenario editor) and I do not own MS Access. If this has been covered elsewhere on HarpGamer please redirect me. Thanks
April 21, 200818 yr Hi Gorgin, If you do not have Access, you'll first want to download and install the HCE 2008.024 patch if you haven't already, http://www.matrixgames.com/games/downloads.asp?gid=325. Then use Windows Explorer to find your HCE folder, which by default will be C:\Matrix Games\HCE\. In that folder will be a file called hce_art.exe, run that (it is an installer for Microsoft Access 97 Runtime). That will get you enough of Access to run the PE. Once that installation is completed, you can double-click pfBuild2005.mdb in that same folder, that is the PE (there is also a shortcut to it in your Start Menu). You'll want to Import a dabase first off once you are in the PE. Note, if you are running Vista, the PE won't run right without making a special shortcut, holler back if that is the case for you.
