February 13, 201313 yr This would simply be the Russian trawler with more elaborate sensors, something like this version... http://www.harpoondatabases.com/Platform.aspx?DB=1&Type=Ship&ID=451 (It's actually a larger ship; I don't know if that is important...I don't know how big the ESM equipment is...suffice that this trawler would have some advanced surveillance equipment and would be able to rely information to task forces, etc.) ...and also with a bit more in the way of weaponry...probably at least one SA-7 SAM missile for dealing with pesky helicopters, etc. I don't think it would have mounted machine guns, but maybe an RPG or two or something else it could use to defend itself against boarding parties, etc.?
