India welcomes first Batch 2 Talwar frigate

The first of the Indian Navy's (IN's) new Batch 2 Talwar-class (Project 11356) frigates on order from Russia arrived in Mumbai on 22 June, according to local reports.

 

INS Teg 's arrival in India follows its commissioning ceremony on 27 April at the Yantar Shipyard in Russia's Baltic coast enclave of Kaliningrad.
