Blackfive - For Your Consideration

Featured Replies

First, if you don't read Day By Day by the most excellent Chris Muir, you should.  It is also that time of year when he raises the money that lets him keep going.

Second, if you don't read Delta Bravo Sierra, by the most excellent Damon Shackelford, you should.  For there is Strange, and then there's Army Strange.  And, if you want to get a bit of the background, along with some outstanding art by some other military artists/cartoonists, you need to check out The Best of Military Cartoons, Volume 1.  I've seen an advance copy, it is a great introduction to today's military cartoons, and it is now up for pre-order.

Somebody knowns the name of a cartoon strip, probably British of the late 1950s or early 1960s, about WWII air combat, with interesting and realistic aircraft cartoons.

It was a long time ago (35 years + ....), and I've none example.

I only remember a nazi Fw-190A (very roundered and wasp-like) with a green heart insignia, and a P-38 Lightning.

I think the plot is, at least partilly, about a RAF or American pilot shoot-down over France and returned in a stolen Fw-190A.

Thanks ;)
