March 1, 201115 yr On that topic, do the Russians have any Bear D's left? I also thought the Kitchen missile was no longer in use, is that true, if so what anti-ship missle would the Russians use, BrahMos? I was checking the Backfires in the current database and there isn't a version without the Kitchen. Maybe they are still in inventory and I am wrong?

The Kh-22 (AS-4 Kitchen) is also gone, withdrawn 2 or 3 years back. The planned Kh-32 was apparently cancelled. Weapons for the Backfire now would be primarily bombs, and although they apparently tested with the Kh-31P, I am not sure of the status of that effort.

Thanks for the info.
