February 8, 201115 yr I have been watching this one with some interest, especially as we have a fair bit of discussion going on over here about whether there should be an expanded SAR capability in this neck of the woods. (Most of it arising from the tragic S-92 crash here in March 2009 and the inquiry that ensued).

The clause is a central feature in the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada's final report on the 12 March 2009 ditching of a Cougar Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A off of Newfoundland.
