Featured Replies

Lafayette (id.2072)

Name(s): => La Fayette, F715 => Ronarch (Cancelled)

Disp.: =>3200 (3000)

DP: =>104 (98), but thanks to composite materials, i think that her Detect Size should stay "Small"

Every Ammo Store are amroured (Light)

The helipad can host a Large Helo (Super Frelon Size), => Large Helipad

Sensors:

two DRBN 34A (id.43349) rather than two DRBN 32 (id.43081)

Mag.:

Crotale id.18572, there's 18 rounds available rather than 8

Mounts:

Crotale Navale (id.59785) been upgraded to Crotale VT-1 (id.18834), so i recommend "Crotale NG TEL" id.60451.

the two MM.40 Exocet Quad  (id.59805) have been upgraded with MM.40 Exocet Block 2 (Block 3 for 2006), so i recommend to replce them by four MM.40 Exocet Blk 2 (id.60506) (4*2)

No SADRAL (id.59790), only for Saudi Arabian version AFAIK

Sylver 8 cell VLS (id.59782) should be added

From sources i consulted, there isn't 12.7mm MG and not more 324mm TT w/MU-90 v0

Thx,

I've seen plenty of references to the fact that the forward hull has the capacity to accommodate the 8 cell Sylver VLS, but has the launcher actually been installed ? Perhaps on only some of the class ? I can't find any confirmation of this.

From internal military report, only the three third last hull are fitted with it (F712 Courbet,F713 Aconit, F714 Guépratte).

I mentionned the F715 Ronarc'h to allow scen designers to have enuf hulls if needed.

An internal rumour is that, where Sylver launcher are, the Crotale launcher is removed.

But Crotale are only stored at naval base and refitted ASAP when needed.

Arriyad, id.2794

Name: Should be Al Riyadh (first hull name and assimilated class name) or "F3000S" wich is the technical class name.

Displacement: 3550 rather than 4650

DP: 127 rather than 125

Flags: add Stabilizer (Dual) and RAST

The helipad can host a Large Helo (Super Frelon Size), => Large Helipad

Mounts:

four MM.40 Exocet Blk 2 (id.60506) rather than just 2 because there's 8 Exocet aboard.

Super Rapid 76mm/62 Fwd, id.59618, rather than M1968 100mm/55 Fwd from Jane's Navy International, 2005:

"Under the amended contract baseline signed in 1997, all three ships were to

be fitted with a GIAT 100 mm Compact gun to maintain commonality with the F

2000S class. Indeed, first-of-class Al Riyadh received its 100 mm mounting

during build and ran initial sea trials with the weapon fitted.

However, the RSNF subsequently revisited this decision, choosing instead to

replace the 100 mm gun originally selected with the Oto Melara 76/62 Super

Rapid gun (using a low RCS gunshield). This was fitted to Makkah and Al

Damman during build and retrofitted to Al Riyadh. "

French 533mm TT, id.60223, should be modified since it should kaunch F17 Mod P, id.26636, rather than F17 Mod2B. Note that this mounts is used by only by SAudi Arabian frigates wich fire the same torpedo, F17ModP, that's why i recommend to modify the mount.

SADRAL (id.59790) shoudl be added two times but only reported one time.
