Save the files wherever u like, just keep them together now go in Harpoon, and at the Select Battleset screen, pick EC2003 Battle for the Atlantic on Select Game Options, pick "Blue" on Select Scenario, click the "User Scenario" button now navigate to where you saved those files and you should be able to pick the one called REDOCT.Scn cheers Mark.
  2. Amazingly our Aussie sub didn't break down, sink or miss. Video Used a Mark 48 Mod 7 (CBASS) do we have these in Harpoon ?
  3. hi all i'm seeking advice on how to do a particular scenario. the scenario i want to do is replicate (to a point) the movie Firefox, with Clint Eastwood. You, a secret agent have to steal the latest Russian superplane. I'm using the GIUK map, and have put in nearly all Russian, Czech, Romanian and Polish airfields. I've also put in 2 blue airfields, one in south-east Romania, and one in Greenland. The mission will be to get the superplane from Romania to Greenland without being destroyed (roughly 2500nm). Between you and Greenland will be the entire defence force of those countries. My problem is on the selection of the aircraft. I originally thought of using the SR71 blackbird. It has the speed, range and performance that i wanted but doesn't have any self-defence weapons or a low enough radar cross section. My second choice was a F22 raptor. its got the weaponry and low radar signature, but doesn't have the range or the speed. So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how i could do this ?? Mark.
  4. Something i tried in the design of this scenario early on was for your submarine to be the latest russian SSN...i think it was the yasseni ?...the super akula type. Anyway, what i found was because the sub was so superior to everything else in the russian inventory, that i could detect and evade all subs and ships 50 miles before they had any chance of detecting me. it made the game quite dull and little more than a navigational exercise. i think having the caterpillar drive would be great fun in a typhoon, perhaps in a scenario where you have to sneak up to the eastern US coast, pass through all the latest and greatest US SSNs and FFGs, and attack from point blank range. That way the super quietness of your sub could offset the superior performance of the US sonars.
