  1. I would suggest battles in the South China Sea and South Pacific right up to Pearl Harbor. The premise is that China unleashed COVD-19 on purpose and military action is about to start. Thanks
  2. The original version of the Scenario Editor (SE) won't run on a 64 bit OS. TonyE has, however, worked his magic and recently made available a version of the SE that will, which you can download in the Beta Testing subforum. Thanks, but I don't see the download in the subforum.
  3. That is the problem....the file is named Wscenedt32 with no ".exe" I click on it and receive the the error message which I sent you as a screen shot.
  4. Hello, Thanks for the replies. Anti Virus isn't the problem. I've attached a screen shot of the error message which refers to a 32 or 64 bit conflict with the Scene Editor file. I have tried running the file in Virtual PC but no luck. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium with 8GB of memory and plenty of space. Any other ideas? Cheers
  5. Hello, Scenario Editor suddenly became accessible. It may have happened after on of the MS updates to WIN 7, but I'm only guessing as nothing else had been loaded. I have tried an un-install and re-install from the CD and from current download files, but no joy. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers
  6. Thanks TonyE. My stupid! I should have checked that as I had just added a second monitor but it wasn't turned on at the time. Too many late hours of work and not enough play. Just noticed what I think is an interesting association: You live in Minneapolis, which where I purchased my first copy of Harpoon (on disk), I have downloaded scenarios from CV32 who lives in St Johns Newfoundland, which is where my father was born, and here I am in Sydney Australia. Just love the community. Thanks again. Cheers M
  7. Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I have isolated the freeze to the Western Pacific Battle Set. Now what happens is when I open a scenario I hear the first "alert" and the game freezes but the alert continues. The only way to stop it is to kill the process. The other battle sets seem fine. Cheers
  8. Hello, Has anyone had any UCE game freezes this week? I am running off an I3 / Win 7 Machine with ample hard drive space and 4GB of memory. I play UCE almost daily, but after the last Windows Update UCE freezes the moment I launch a game. Any ideas? Cheers
