I am trying to build a user scenario using divefreak's Middle East Battleset.

 

Unfortunately some of the bases are far from where they should be. Dubai is in the middle of the Gulf of Oman, for example, serveral hundred kilometres east of where it should be. Similarly, Abu Dhabi is not on the coast of the Persian Gulf, but in the middle of the peninsula.

 

Is there some other data base that should be used with this Battleset ?

 

Or is it possible to manually relocate a base ?

You can change the position of an Installation just as you would any other platform.

 

At the task bar, go to Groups/Change Group Position (Ctrl + P).

 

(As an aside, real life lat/long coordinates do not always translate well into the Scenario Editor. Sometimes it is necessary to manually adjust the DB coordinates of an installation so they match up with the SE/PE maps. Otherwise, just use the above mentioned command).
