March 19, 200818 yr Can you confirm that ECM used against missiles ARH and Decoys used against missiles IRH? Nothing is mentioned in the rules. Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) is a very broad term, but lets put it this way, simply: The only "jammers" that would affect "passive" IR homing missiles would be systems like the ALQ-144, which attempt to confuse IR seekers by creating alternative sources of heat radiation, or a directional missile countermeasures system (DIRCM), like the AAQ-24, which attempt to jam by actually focusing a laser on the IR seeker head. So there, in effect, ECM "jammers" for use against both active radar homing (ARH) and IRH missiles. And, there are "decoys" for both missile seeker types, as well.
