Hi all,

I just registered on your forum after exploring it for a short time. It looks like my kind of place so I signed up and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 41 year government employee and Harpoon player from "back in the day." I bought my first computer in 1990 and my first copy of Harpoon not long after that. I played it non stop for quite a long time. In the mid 1990's the opportunity to participate in beta testing a later version of Harpoon presented itself. I wish I could remember which version it was. After that test period was over I was "Harpooned out" and my first child arrived. So my gaming was severely curtailed for quite some time. (Excluding Barney and Sesame Street games! And don't even get me started on the Teletubbies... LOL)

My children are older now and I have time for some games once again. Imagine my delight this morning as I cruised the net and saw that a new version of Harpoon Classic is just around the corner. I was just as delighted to find this great Harpoon players forum. I'm very ready for some more Harpoon and some spirited interaction on this site. See you all on the BB! :D

Wow, sounds exactly like me! I, too, am waiting with baited breath for the Commander's Edition. The betas I played were awesome.
