I am looking for the defences that were set up in the Dardanelles in the Cold war, colorfully enough, the Turks apparently got some 9.4inch guns from the UK, but is there anywhere were I can find what else they had to defend the straits up to Istanbul?

I don't they had much of anything in the way of dedicated coastal defense weaponry, beyond what you mention. I expect it would in some ways be reminiscent of the WWI experience (assuming the Warsaw Pact got far enough to actually threaten a breakout), with minefields and coastal artillery playing a role.
