Blackfive - Another guy who should STFU about bin Laden raid

Featured Replies

One of the SEALs from the bin Laden raid has apparently written a book about the operation. He uses a pseudonym, but I know his name and it will likely come out shortly. The bottom line is that doing this makes you a douche of epic proportions. There was whining about how former operators were pointing out that leaks about classified ops were hurting our security. They were called unprofessional, which was unfair. They were not giving out info, they were saying that the giving out of info was a dangerous thing This jackass is going to basically spill the details of the raid so he can cash in.

Dear Loser,

Enjoy the money, you are now dead to all the rest of us.

Cordially,

Everyone else from the Special Ops community

Amen and amen. I like to say, all of my best work is stuff I can't talk about for seventy-years or the time of my death - whichever comes first!

Although I agree with the sentiment of the billboard, I think the guy who bought the ad space approached the problem from an inappropriate tack. I believe this took place in Texas ... right? Any who, I don't think the SEALs per say had anything to do with this. I'm glad the guy can exercise his 1st amendment right of free speech. Sadly, the connotations (President Obama nees to be 'removed' by the American people) is unsettling.

I don't see quoting a fact (i.e. that the SEALs neutralized bin Laden) as requiring any direct support from the SEALs for the ad. Neither do I see any "connotations" from calling for the voters to remove Obama from office.
