Iran's first nuclear power station has been connected to the country's electricity grid, state news reports.

 

Bushehr was supplying 60 megawatts of its 1,000 megawatt capacity to the national grid, officials said.

 

CV32: Didn't see much hoopla about this event. With things tense enough between Israel, Egypt, Turkey and the ongoing mess in Syria, that might be a good thing. Meanwhile, it appears an IRIAF F-5 has crashed in the midst of a large scale air war exercise in the country.
