Requests/Issues
Request platform additions and changes here
Please include the following information with your request:
1. Version of ANW you are using, ex. 3.10.1
2. Version of HUD4 you are currently using, ex. 1.6.5
3. IF you are reporting an issue, provide a saved game and instructions to reproduce the issue if possible.
4. If you are request a new platform, provide information and links you think would be useful. Bonus points for giving a teaser on how you will use the platform.
5. One request or issue per thread. So ask for the DD-963 as of 1982, not the entire French Navy. For the French Navy you would post a number of requests for individual classes.
6. Periodically, finished items (,
, and some
) will be moved to the archives
When you make a new request, please set the topic icon to
The maintainer will set it to when the request/issue has been fulfilled/addressed
If you see the request is refused
Any player who has tested the change can post to that effect and request that the icon be set to
Ideally the reporter will also test and then set the icon to
Naming conventions:
Civilian ships have the "CIV" tag in front of the name.
Crime/offense-related units have the "CRIM" tag.
Soviet/Russian ships name is preceded by the Project number.
PRC ships have their name preceded by Type number.
NATO units are preceded by the Pennant number.
US units have the US designation number.
Before requesting a platform, players are advised to track it in the list, under the lead unit's name or class' name.

MSI Project 1258 ("Yevgenya") class http://www.harpoondatabases.com/Encyclopedia/Entry1591.aspx Why include more minesweepers? Because they were also used as patrol boats by lots of little countries. (So they have some utility to scenario design.)

Had these problems awhile ago and it did not seem to get fixed... AGM-158A JASSM AGM-158B JASSM-ER Regardless of platform, the 'Attack Dialogue Window' comes up with 'Weapon cannot acquire target'. AGM-154A/B/C AGM-130 A/B/C Regardless of platform, the weapon does not consistently engage targets, i.e., cannot manually release weapon even when well within range yet if A/C is used during a mission, the weapon will inconsistently release. A couple of minor corrections are needed for the MCM Avenger. 1. Crew and displacement are listed as 0. This probably does not affect gameplay, as the ship's damage points are listed, but it looks odd. 2. The ship's sensors only include radar; it does seem to have some kind of sonar system (according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avenger_class_mine_countermeasures_ship), although I don't know whether that would be modeled or not in Harpoon. 3. The ship carries mine the AN/SLQ-48 remotely operated mine disposal system. I'm not sure how this should be modeled in Harpoon, or if it should simply be listed in the descriptive text, etc. ANW HUD 4 v1.11
