Do you think it is normal that CZ are not dependent on passive range?

This means that a good sonar (BQG-5 WAA / LF-MF / 6 nm Passive Range) has the same number of CZ a bad sonar (AQS-22 / LF-MF / 1.5 nm Passive Range).

HELRAS and FLASH operate at very deep depths - close to the deep sound channel. This increases the ranges and especially the CZ capability.
