Vishwast-class advanced offshore patrol vessel

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vishwast-class_advanced_offshore_patrol_vessel

"Vishwast (meaning: reliable) class of Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessels are series of three ships built by Goa Shipyard Limited, Vasco da Gama, Goa for the Indian Coast Guard. The ships in this class are 93.6 metres in length and are equipped with a 30 mm CRN 91 Naval Gun gun for policing the Exclusive Economic Zone. The vessels are designed to be propelled by two MTU engines delivering 18000 kW of power and have a range of 4500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12-14 knots. Bow thrusters have been provided for precision manoeuvring to enable the ships to navigate through restricted waters. The ships are equipped with state-of-art navigation and communication equipment automated by an Integrated Bridge System (IBS). They are also capable of operating the HAL Dhruv. The ships are primarily designed for patrolling and policing maritime zones, search and rescue operations, maritime surveillance, anti-smuggling operations, pollution response against oil spillages and external fire-fighting." --Wikipedia

As India's global influence increases, I could see vessels like this getting involved in peacekeeping, crime-fighting, and/or intelligence-gathering around the world.
