May 22, 201312 yr CIV - Island http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_islands Every couple of years, a new small island is created somewhere in the world by volcanic activity. While such an island is usually just an inhospitable rock and is virtually worthless in and of itself, a nation that claimed it could use that claim to extend their territorial waters and EEZ. In other words, suddenly, anywhere in the world, we might have a new Spratly Island. Any you know what THAT might mean. I'm not sure how this would be modeled. For all practical purposes, it is just a geographic place marker. But facilities cannot be placed at sea. I suppose that one could just use the Type A Drilling Platform (100 meters, 90,000 tons, 1600 DP, and room for up to two medium helicopters), to model such a tiny island. If there was some way to use a different icon for it (e.g., the block one used for buildings) that would probably look nicer. And the text in the database entry would need to be changed, perhaps to "A very small island, newly created by volcanic activity." ANW HUD-4 v1.11
