"The Karel Doorman is a planned multi-function support ship for amphibious operations currently being built for the Royal Netherlands Navy, in service date of 2015. With 204.7 meters it will be the largest ship in service in the Netherlands navy. With this ship, the amphibious plan for the navy is complete with two Rotterdam-class LPDs, and one Joint Logistic Support Ship (JLSS).
