February 11, 201214 yr Indian Project Project 15B (upgraded Project 15A) Quoted from Wikipedia... Project 15B (upgraded Project 15A) In January 2011, the Cabinet Committee for Security gave approval for four more destroyers under Project 15B. Even though Type 15B retains the hull form of Kolkata class destroyers, there will be changes in the superstructure that will improve stealth and include better sound and infrared suppression systems. Project 15B differs from Project 15A because of the flush deck. The flush deck improves stealth as it is smoother with less angles and corners. The displacement of each Project 15B will be approximately 7,000 tonnes. As with most Indian design, the ship will operate two helicopters. The Project 15B will be armed with the Nirbhay land attack cruise missile (1,000 km range), the hypersonic Brahmos-II anti-ship cruise missile (300 km range) and Extended Range Surface to Air Missile (ER-SAM) (100 km range).[20] In addition Project 15B may feature Barak 8 for air-defence. Except for the weaponry (which will be imported), the ship will be totally indigenous.[21] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-15B_class_d..._Project_15A.29 ANW HUD 4 v 1.1 b7
