Please include the following information with your request:
1. Version of ANW you are using, ex. 3.10.1
2. Version of HUD4 you are currently using, ex. 1.6.5
3. IF you are reporting an issue, provide a saved game and instructions to reproduce the issue if possible.
4. If you are request a new platform, provide information and links you think would be useful. Bonus points for giving a teaser on how you will use the platform.
5. One request or issue per thread. So ask for the DD-963 as of 1982, not the entire French Navy. For the French Navy you would post a number of requests for individual classes.
6. Periodically, finished items (,
, and some
) will be moved to the archives
When you make a new request, please set the topic icon to
The maintainer will set it to when the request/issue has been fulfilled/addressed
If you see the request is refused
Any player who has tested the change can post to that effect and request that the icon be set to
Ideally the reporter will also test and then set the icon to

Xian Y-7 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xian_Y-7 http://blogs.defensenews.com/intercepts/2013/01/china-confirms-y-7-for-aew-for-carrier-ops/ "Carrier-based AWACS variant [of the Y-7]....has 4 rudders like E-2 AEW" --Wikipedia I suppose all the variants could be added, including the MA60 (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xian_MA60), but the "Chinese E-2" should probably get priority as that really could be a game-changer in a scenario. Yakovlev Yak-40 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakovlev_Yak-40 Another widespread aircraft (looks like a few hundred built and over 100 exported) that might be included in the database. Not a critical need--again, I'm just posting things as I find them so I don't forget--but an interesting plane and perhaps useful for some scenarios. ANW HUD 4 v1.1b9

Yurka-class minesweeper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yurka_class_minesweeper "The Yurka class were a group of minesweepers built for the Soviet Navy and export customers between 1963 and 1970. The Soviet designation was Project 266 Rubin." --Wikipedia A few of these were transferred to Egypt and Vietnam, so they might show up in a variety of scenarios. ANW HUD-4 v1.11

Zimbabwe has a small air force, but with some capable combat aircraft. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimbabwe_Defence_Forces http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_of_Zimbabwe 1. The country should be added to the country menus in the scenario editor 2. Country-appropriate platforms in the database should be linked to that country, with dates of service, etc. 3. As time allows, country-specific platforms or country-specific variations on existing platforms should be added to the database. Thanks! ANW HUD 4 v1.1 b10
