The following is an attempt to provide some basic text that can simply be cut and paste into the database by Gunny whenever it is convenient for him to do so. Facts (dates, etc.) were gathered from Wikipedia, but I have tried to make sure I have not used the actual wording or phrasing that occurs in the Wikipedia articles. Obviously, if any of these are wrong, etc., please feel free to post corrections so that Gunny can use that information. Here are the first set of ship descriptions. All right, I did a bit more research and I think my earlier request was in error. I also think some versions of the LCS may be armed more heavily than they are supposed to be.
