Byron, please give this instrumented copy a try.  Attempt to set a scenario duration after starting the scenario editor.  Once it crashes, e-mail me or post the se.log file.  That log file should show me where the crash happens in the code so we can further troubleshoot.

Lot of other things that were wonky disappeared as well, like I'm now able to set "on station" and when I select an air patrol the number box doesn't give me every aircraft in the scenario, just the ones of that type on the platform, i.e., select Viking for air patrol of formation, I get just the number of that aircraft aboard that ship and not the total number in the scenario.

Serious weirdness: I have a carrier group in scenario editor but when I run the scenario in the game the carrier is gone:

Logging begins.  Version = 2021.008, Build Date = Nov 22 2021, Build Time=22:50:26

Byron, can you post up the scenario file and the xml file as well (ideally in a zip file but I'll take what I can get) or e-mail.ScenFilesCarrier.png

Then I can see "oh, you added such and such a carrier"

The "Why" is that the carrier and its planes have only a 10% chance of inclusion instead of 100%.  I'm not sure how that happened but that is why the carrier only rarely appears, probably an accidental press of the delete key.  There are two ways to fix.

1. Delete and recreate the group.

2. Ask me to modify the scenario file and post it back here with the carrier and planes set to 100% chance of inclusion.

    <GROUP id="ACC" uuid="17582db5-4df9-4950-98af-bbb9be59bd10" side="BLUE" lat="56.415275" lon="-32.671454" inclusion_chance="100">
      <UNITS>
        <UNIT  percent_chance="10">
          <CLASSNAME>Bush (2009)</CLASSNAME>
          <NAME name_offset="141234" name_length="15" name_db="0">George HW Bush</NAME>
          <PLANE  percent_chance="10">
            <NAME>SH-60B Seahawk</NAME>
          </PLANE>
          ...
        </UNIT>

Weird...I'll go back and redo it. I wanted to get some Flight IIA Burkes for more helos anyway. Thanks, Tony, would have not spotted that in a million years. Still multi-tasking here, getting ready for the big day. I'm cooking the turkey: I coat it with olive oil, coarse sea salt and black pepper and paprika, put about an inch of chicken stock in the bottom of the pan, then stick it in the oven at 450 for 25 minutes. I then take it out, tent it tightly with foil ( I use a disposable aluminum pan, less clean up) and finish cooking it. I get a perfectly cooked turkey, moist and tender with good flavor and no over cooked or under cooked spots. It's like steaming the bird :)

I took a go at modifying it here with the debugger and set your carrier and its aircraft to 100% chance of inclusion.  Attached is the modified scenario.  I see a lot of the other units have a less than 100% chance of inclusion.  Was that intentional?

For instance Trafalgar 4% chance of inclusion, Vanguard 4% chance of inclusion, Rafael Peralta 14% chance of inclusion, Wasp 14% chance of inclusion, ...
