Smitty
Hi, I have been using HUCE ( HC 2015.027 ) and things were working fine. I updated by downloading HC 2017.009 GESEDU. zip and executing the installer I downloaded HC 2016,003GEa. zip and executed the installer. If I use a battleset scenario everything is still fine. However, if I bring a battleset scenario into the editor ( Winscenedt32 ) and then save it ( with no changes ) it will not execute and I get the following message: " The requested scenario file requires a newer version of the game. This scenario is version 4 . This game supports through version 3. Exiting..." I am wondering if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks, Smitty
TonyE
Ah crap, you aren't doing anything wrong. For 2017.009 I changed the scenario file format which means the older GE (2016.003) can't open scenarios made with the newer SE (2017.009). I suggest giving the 2017.009 GE a try (so install 2017.009 again) and install the InstaClimb http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?/files/file/940-instaclimb/and InstaTurn http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?/files/file/939-instaturn/ ExportDLLs. Or try without those two ExportDLLs and help us troubleshoot to get the gradual turns and climbs working better. Thank you for saying something! Smitty
Hi, I am leaving for California tomorrow for 2 to 3 weeks. I'll have a computer, but my schedule may not allow me to do much. Can I just run the installer for HC 2017.009 GESEDU.zip on top of what I have in there (see first -email in thread ) or do I have to back and install the HC 2015.027 ? Thanks for replying so quickly. TonyE
You don't have to uninstall anything or reinstall 2015.027. Just run the 2017.009 installer again.
