TonyE Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 I am looking for a few players to give a potentially GE and SE combination a workout. They support doubling from 2047/8 items per annex in the database to 4096 items per annex to give the database authors breathing room for a little while. If you are interested and can invest at least an hour in the next week exercising as many capabilities of the GE and SE as possible looking for crashes, please PM me your interest and e-mail address. Just to set expectations, in my limited testing the GE and SE are working well for existing scenarios, existing saved games, new saved games, and new scenarios. The PE (Platform Editor) changes have not even begun. Thank you 1

CV32 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 This is a big deal for me, one that I've been tormenting Tony about for awhile now. Any help would be appreciated. 1
donaldseadog Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 This is a big deal for me, one that I've been tormenting Tony about for awhile now. Any help would be appreciated. I got quite excited for you when Tony mentioned he was headed in that direction with the database in exportDLL stuff. (I'm away for about a week or 10 days and had some prep work to do so can't help, though would love to)
Onyx Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Hi Tony, If you are still in need of alpha testers I'd gladly help out. My e-mail is <removed> Best regards, Gary
TonyE Posted October 9, 2015 Author Report Posted October 9, 2015 Thanks Gary, I added you to the PM conversation and will remove your e-mail address from the post above. Also thanks to Wombat1417 for diving right into the alpha testing. He has been out of the loop but added good value already, pointing out a number of areas where the game as a whole needs clarity and updated documentation. The one 4096 bug found so far was by Eric and promptly fixed.
TonyE Posted October 14, 2015 Author Report Posted October 14, 2015 The current builds are looking pretty good in the limited testing they have received. GE, SE, and PE are all updated, crossing my fingers that no big issues are found today so I can put it up for everyone to consume.
CV32 Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 You sir are the Man. On a day filled with post election blues, you have made it much brighter.
