Herman walked me through this one after I found the save to be after the key events (thanks Herman).

To reproduce the issue, start the scenario (HDS9 #4 The Devil's Due) playing as Red

1. Launch the twelve Tu-22m from ZMa (8 x Standoff, 4 x AntiRadar) with an attack order against AIa.

2. After the Tu-22 launch their weapons and start the treck home...

3. Split the group, move both bunches of aircraft to the new group.

4. At the prompt for orders, give them a landing order.

5. Split both bunches of planes from the group again.

6. At the prompt for orders, give them a landing order.

7. Now when you try to split the group, in 2008.068 or older only one of the two bunches of aircraft will be visible, there should be no problem in 2009.001

Followed the steps listed with .001.

This works as stated.
