Fictional platform. A "what if" platform that assumes an aircraft based on the X-29 was purchased as a follow-up to the F-5, a light fighter similar to the F-16, and designed with export in mind. A fast and highly maneuverable aircraft, and small, making it agile and hard to hit, with a good sensor suite (similar to an F-16C) its primary drawback is limited payload (approx. 4,000 lbs. on four hardpoints). Even so, it makes a good complement to many air forces and might be widely exported, like the F-16.
