broncepulido
That sad story remembers me about old Soviet/Russian traditions, as reflected in Billy Wilder's One, Two, Three http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One,_Two,_Three Something as: "Soviet Commisar: The American rockets have only a button, in case of failure, the button blows-up the rocket. In case of failure Russian rockets have two buttons: a button blows-up the rocket, and the other button blows-up the rocket scientist". eclipse_trb
sounds like a crappy design flaw to me, should be a sensor in the wheel assembly that senses the weight of the aircraft, if there is weight button should be dead if there is no weight (in flight or lifted for service) then button is live. Pretty simple, hell I think my ford truck has it for the air suspension system...
