  2. 1) I'll bet that you are already on this, but how about the SM-6 ASuW weapon, maybe 12 per DDG or CG, DP around 12-16, range 125 NM? http://news.usni.org/2016/02/04/secdef-carter-confirms-navy-developing-supersonic-anti-ship-missile-for-cruisers-destroyers 2) Also, RGM 158C LRASM-A (VLS) range 380NM, AGM 158C (B1B, (12) F/A 18 (2)), range 450 NM, DP 76+ http://www.navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.displayPlatform&key=A947D40B-2498-4064-8EB9-6AFB47369DDB 3) Should the Chinese PL-10 have a range of 32 NM or so? Current 15 NM range makes PLAAF Flankers easy pickings... THANKS

    GE increments

So: If I upgrade my GE to 2015.27 and reload a saved game, will it behave properly, or should I finish/abort my game before I upgrade? Thanks
  6. Whatever happened to the Battleset Builder, available in older versions?
  7. This sounds great. Thanks for everything. I like all of these ideas, particularly filtering platforms by time period (as is presently done with some ships)
  8. I wish I had time. Looks hard and fun.
  9. The scenario runs fine now. It's just that I have the old SE still after installing Tony's update. from http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?/topic/2049-current-files/. Am I getting the right update? Maybe this should go to another thread, sorry.
  10. Got the GE upgraded, but not the SE. Am I doing something wrong?
  11. I'm having trouble getting this [Tesseract scenario] to run on HCE, original GE. Anybody else?
  12. Here's a real simple (I think) modification. The AI will automatically turn on radars when a) it thinks a unit is detected, or upon firing of AAM's, even if they do nor require a radar for guidance. This defeats stealth aircraft advantages, and makes surface group identification very easy for the human player.
  13. Brad is correct about the slippery slope, and I have made some very accurate scenarios that are really boring. Please remember that I said I'm just a fussy old man. A scenario here is a work of art, just as a painting or a song is. You are doing great work in keeping this old game alive, and I'll enjoy everything you do. So please don't take my comments too seriously.
  14. Here's a small thing from a fussy old man.. There are some Bergamini class frigates included in the carrier group. These were retired in the 1980's. A second "Bergamini" and "Fasan" class are coming into service in the 2010's. Maybe you meant to use these? I'm really enjoying the NACV scenario, nice work, thanks.
  15. SPOILERS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm having a nice time with this one too. I did tinker with it, reducing my A/C from 405 to 379, losing the SU-50 and a few other things. if that's not OK, my apologies, and if it is, I can send it along to you for your perusal. (I did not peek). The plentiful AEW assets provided make this fairly low stress, although nice and busy. I'm ahead in A/C losses 165 to 16 at 9:19 to go, but no victory yet. It seems like I have shot down 500 cruise missiles so far. No damage to ships or bases so far. I did get lucky when a poorly planned Storm Shadow volley distracted the RED SAM's long enough for me to shoot with the Oscar, hitting an American carrier with three Shipwrecks. She's in bad shape and out of the fight I think. This is great fun, thanks for making it.
  16. A tiny thing- can you add #55591 (Intercept-2) to F-14A and F-14D?
  17. 1)Has anybody mentioned the Barak-8 upgrade for Israeli Saar-V corvettes? 2) Was the F/A18A truly Harpoon capable?

In 2017, the continuing conflict in the South China Sea boils over. Japan and the USA will stand aside as Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and an already beaten Vietnam try to take the SCS back from China. Happy Birthday, Tony!

  20. Brad, thank you so much for everything. I have a scenario in the works, should be out in a few more days. I have a few things. 1) add Precis-2 (Hammer AASM) to Rafale M F3 2) LRASM/JASSM-er for USAF/USN maybe? 3) 16 SSM's on the Slava class CG's (check, honestly), 4) damage points for Brimstone missile more than 2 5) A naval HAL Tejas for India? 6) Revisiting the Indian Mirage 2000 to reflect recent upgrades (Mica-IR, RDY-3 radar) 7) USMC F/A 18C's are tasked mostly with CAS missions, revisiting these loadouts (many of them are NOT duplicated for other a/c) to emphasize this rather than AAW/naval strike will add some flavor to USN scenarios.
  21. Check the Slava class CG's they only have 12 SSM's in the DB. THX.
  22. Grappled with this one before, because the AIM-120 loadout was very rare, but since they've appeared recently, I've decided to put the AIM-120 option back in there. Unless modifications of existing options, further loadouts are unlikely. Sorry. Doesn't meet the criteria. This is possible, but only (maybe) if we use the existing 'fictional' MH-64J Apache Scout entry. What say you? a) Thanks OK, I understand c) Waaah. D)You bet, that's what I did to test the idea.
  23. A couple of requests for the next iteration: a) USMC Harriers with Amraam http://defensetech.org/2011/12/08/harriers-now-armed-with-amraams/ Indian Navy Mig29's with a wider array of weapons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MiG-29K_on_the_MAKS-2009_%2802%29.jpg (I know, but do what you can..) c) An AEW variant of the V-22 d) A version of the "sea apache" concept. http://www.aviastar.org/helicopters_eng/mcdonnell_sea_apache.php Most of these requests have to do with modeling a "sequestered" USN/USMC in the years to come, with traditional carriers unavailable. BTW, I think removing the AARGM capability from the F-35 is a great idea. THANKS
