2. How do i know what rader the S300 uses?
It doesn't appear that anyone addressed this particular question.
Surveillance and target acquisition radars:
S-300P, S-300PT (NATO SA-10a Grumble), S-300PS, S-300PM (SA-10b Grumble) : NATO Tin Shield, NATO Clam Shell
S-300PMU (NATO SA-10c Grumble) : NATO Clam Shell
S-300PMU-1 (NATO SA-20a Gargoyle) : NATO Big Bird, NATO Cheese Board
S-300F (NATO SA-N-6 Grumble) : NATO Top Steer, NATO Top Pair
S-300V (NATO SA-12 Gladiator) : NATO Bill Board, NATO High Screen
Target tracking and missile guidance radars:
S-300P, S-300PT (SA-10a): NATO Flap Lid A
S-300PS (SA-10b), S-300PM (SA-10b), S-300PMU (SA-10c) : NATO Flap Lid B
S-300PMU-2 (NATO SA-20b Gargoyle) : NATO Flap Lid B
S-300F (NATO SA-N-6 Grumble) : NATO Top Dome
S-300FM (NATO SA-N-20 Gargoyle) : NATO Tomb Stone Mod
S-300V (NATO SA-12 Gladiator) : NATO Grill Pan
I have included the S-300V, even though its a different missile system, for the sake of clarity.
There is some cross over between variants in terms of the radars they can use, and even some minor differences between radar systems that carry the same NATO codename. It also doesn't help that SA-20a and SA-20b used to be designated SA-10d and SA-10e, respectively.

I just fired up the old HCE after many years and noticed that a lot of the unit pictures are missing. First I thought I'd ask how to replace/add them, but perhaps a patch fixes the issue? I looked up and apparently my version is 2009.043.... Where are the patches? I see 2017 is mentioned on the forums. Additionally are there any scenario sites alive apart from this one? I stumble over a lot of dead sites/links out there, and even a lot of the harpgamer links are dead.
Game engine (GE) patches, updates and such can generally be found here: https://harpgamer.com/harpforum/topic/29035-current-files/
The database (DB) updates are located in the Downloads section of this site.
Pictures/photos for the platform entries in the DB have never been a priority, because of the amount of work involved (as compared to actual data), copyright issues, etc.
I am not aware of any other active Harpoon (the computer sim) websites/forums. Please report any dead links on HarpGamer.

Chinese Type 055 destroyer and Type 075 LHD
Royal New Zealand Navy ANZAC class frigates with the 2017 Frigate Service Upgrade
Thanks!
Updates to the HCDB ended in September 2015.
Its follow-on, the HCDB2, started up in 2016. It does contain the Type 055, but I do not think the Type 075 or Te Kaha (ANZAC 2017) are in there.
Updates to the HCDB2 are in abeyance for the time being.

Proposal - Increase number of runway sizes
in Database Design & Discussion
And this makes good sense, of course. For land based operations, a helo can land most anywhere as long as the land is reasonably level and the area cleared and big enough to accommodate it. It does not have to be a nice, clean concrete pad in a particular location.
