Assertion Failure on loading saved game

Featured Replies

Didn't have this problem before, don't know if its going to be a corrupted save or something else.

I have confimed this also happened for me in the following versions of HCE:

2008.24

2008.33

This save should be loaded using the WestPac battlset.

This fix was tested and appeared to work, but after running the scenario for about 10 seconds it then crashed with the following error:

okay, 2008.035 gets past the 2nd bug, what's next <g>

Just give me a bit of time, I'm sure I can break something else.

Will test .035 tomorrow

I tried it with .035 tonight, and the program "Stopped Responding", as just about anything that irritates Vista does. No problems with anything else Harpoon-wise, so I'd guess it's the scenario, although Vista, being the piece of crap that it is, doesn't provide details.

HCE - 2008.035

Tested with save displaying original fault.

Scenario continues without further error.

Confirmed fix works as planned.
