It's been a year since we launched HarpGamer, and I for one have been very happy with the experience. Many thanks to my fellow site administrators, and to all of you whom have supported and participated in the effort.

You would think the anniversary 'bills' would have triggered a light-bulb about us being here for one year, oops. Sadly none of us won the lottery but I imagine we'll continue to see slow and steady improvement at HarpGamer. Thank you everyone for participating and making use of the resources here.

Where's the entertainment?
I want balloons, refreshments, and girls jumping out of cakes!
Congratulations to a good first year, fellows.

Looks like all the entertainment is over at SZO these days.

This week we reached 1000 registered users, most of whom aren't spambots! We've reached 1000 before but subsequent purgings of the non-humans pushed us back below that level. The server is getting an upgrade June 5th as well, a doubling of RAM so hopefully some of the performance issues of the last few weeks will subside even though honestly we've probably outgrown the current digs, we'll see!
Thanks all, don't forget to post about Harpoon and upload your scens, and participate

I'd like to echo Tony's comments and thank all of you for keeping HarpGamer alive and relevant.
And a special thanks to those of you who have used the new 'Donate' button. It helps!
