As confirmed in the article, the definitive MiG-31BM as result of previous MiG-31 conversions has only 4xR-37M, not 6xR-37 as the ill-fated MiG-31M, the projected new-build planes, project deleted near 1997 (also, as other basic difference, the MiG-31M was not equipped with internal gun). It was too expensive or impossible to modify the underfuselage of MiG-31/B to carry 6xR-37, as in the projected MiG-31M. Because that, the MiG-31BM will carry only 4xR-37M.

I expect I will find time to make the necessary adjustments in the HCDB as I start to shift time away from the HCCW.
