Harpoon II

Harpoon II looks a lot like Harpoon 3 except I like the organization of Harpoon II better and its greater number of diagrams really impress me.
There is a diagram showing a multi-game-turn ship turn instead of having to guess and divine if I move first, turn first, jump around three times,...
As for the organization, the rules are categorized by their order in the turn whch I find very helpful.
Perhaps more comments once I really have a good read of the rules and annexes (the annexes looking very similar to Harpoon 3).

Harpoon II arrived today spectacularly packed. I almost felt bad removing it from the acetate envelopes complete with stiff cardstock to keep things from bending. But was I ever glad I broke the seal!

The only problem I ever had with Harpoon II was that it flat out refused to run under XP or Vista. Works like a champ with DOSBox though.

We're speaking about the original Harpoon II paper rules? (My oldest versions are Harpoon 3 and Harpoon Captain Edition). The only problem I ever had with Harpoon II was that it flat out refused to run under XP or Vista. Works like a champ with DOSBox though.
Buddha, note we're in the Paper Rules area, they don't run on DOS either
